Beautiful Vintage Paper Doll PRINTABLE PDF downloads from a very rare period original!

These "Pretty Dolls to Dress" is from the year 1920, and features fashions from about 1916-1920.  This was by artist Mary Nye Marshall.  There are two dolls to dress-

**a girl doll with a morning dress and hat, an afternoon dress and two hats, an evening dress and headdress, and evening coat
** a boy doll with a suit, two hats, and one overcoat.

Included is a page that instructs how to print on the home printer.

NOTE- The original document size is included, but this is too wide for modern printers. So TWO FILES are included- one that is resized properly to fit on US Letter/A4 paper.  This is just a bit smaller than the period original, but so much easier to print at home, and retains the correct size for the clothes to fit the dolls.

You may use this for WWI era/1920s living history events, children's toys, digital scrapbooking, your own crafts or decoupage, or many other uses.  Although credit is always appreciated, it is not required. The file itself, or the digital images, however, may not be redistributed as this remastered PDF version has been painstakingly restored by me from a very worn and distressed period original.

Please be sure to print the files at 100% or "Actual Size" so the dresses are the correct size for the dolls.

I suggest printing the dolls on a heavier cardstock, or printing and then pasting them to cardboard or a rigid card stock, then cutting off the perimeter.  The clothes are best printed on either a card stock or a nice cover paper.

The original paper doll was 8 pages in length, including the front and back cover. This e-book is 9 pages in length, with the addition of a front page with printing instructions.

  • HOW TO USE E-PATTERNS

Most patterns come as both A4/US LETTER and A0 size. You will need ADOBE READER, a free program, to print your e-pattern.

    For A4/US LETTER paper:

Open the "READ-ME-FIRST" File for instructions on printing and piecing your pattern. Print the PDF file on your home printer, cut off on the lines given, and tape them together. Then you cut and use your pattern just as you would a normal home sewing pattern.

    For A0 size:

This is sent away to a copyshop and printed on big sheets for you. We print A0 pattern sheets at great prices at Pattern Printing Company

  • Returns

No returns or exchanges are accepted. Please be sure of your pattern size and type of product, either physical or digital, before purchasing.
