Multisize- Bust 32-44", waist 23.5"- 35.5" all included in the same packet. This pattern was originally for young women of JUNIOR PETITE size. Most figures will require some alterations.


--- DESCRIPTION ---
This pattern is a "Resto-Vival" pattern from summer of 1922.

The blouse can be made sleeveless, with short sleeves and cuff, or with long sleeve and cuff. The blouse has neckline variations including close neck with collar, open neck with collar, V neck, or square neck. The blouse can be belted with a sash, have elastic through a casing, or have an attached shirred elastic belt that is applied to the outside of the blouse.

The knickers are cut full in the seat and hips and are meant to fit the calf. The waistband will be finished with an interior belt (no instructions included). They are flat front and darted at back.

The bathing cap is made of a square of fabric hat is slit in at the bias, hemmed narrowly, and then simply tied in place.

This pattern mentioned being cut of jersey (knit), silk including taffetas, cottons such as chambray. It's really quite a versatile pattern!

For advanced difficulty, this pattern has the period original, written sewing instructions which are very minimal and basic sewing instruction. The sewing instructions do not include details about finishing or in-depth construction. Advanced knowledge is recommended. You may want a sewing book handy to help with tricky parts.
